Description

RenderDoc - Version v1.41 is the GitHub release notes for RenderDoc 1.41, baldurk's open-source graphics debugger for capturing and inspecting GPU frames.

The headline change is threaded shader-debugger simulation on D3D11, D3D12, and Vulkan so wave ops, workgroup interaction, and groupshared memory can be debugged with enough threads. Other notes cover D3D12 bindless CB display, capture memory overhead, Vulkan descriptor-buffer and extension work, Python stub typing, many replay fixes, and an AMD driver caveat for multi-thread shader debugging.

Graphics engineers who capture frames across major APIs are the audience. Intermediate shader-debugging familiarity helps for the new simulator.

Binaries are linked from the release page and renderdoc.org. The notes are plain GitHub release text for this version tag.

It is a useful upgrade checkpoint when you debug compute or wave-heavy shaders that older single-thread simulation could not represent correctly.
