Occlusion-Point Reuse for Ray-Traced Ambient Occlusion and Shadow is Haojie Jin and collaborators' method reusing occlusion sample points across frames for ray-traced ambient occlusion and shadows.
Cached occlusion points amortize tracing while preserving contact hardening; experiments compare against full resampling on production-style scenes.
RT engineers familiar with AO, shadow rays, and denoising will follow the GPU assumptions.
The arXiv entry provides PDF and abstract.
