Description

Harry-Heath’s URP-Decal-Node is a GitHub sample with a Shader Graph Decal Node subgraph for Universal Render Pipeline. It supports artist-authored projected decals in Unlit graphs when HDRP projectors or newer URP Decal Shader Graph materials are unavailable.

Enable the URP depth texture, use a transparent Unlit master node, and select alpha, premultiply, additive, or multiply blending. Examples show each mode via depth-based projection onto geometry.

Intermediate Shader Graph users who configure URP renderer assets will benefit. Compare Unity Decal Projector docs with this cube-proxy workflow before shipping.

Import into a project, apply materials to a shadowless cube mesh, and edit the open subgraph. The README covers setup; there is no package listing.

The author warns performance is untested. Modest GitHub interest keeps it cited in free URP decal lists, including Cyanilux notes.
