Description

ACM SIGGRAPH is the ACM special interest group for computer graphics and interactive techniques. Its site at siggraph.org links membership, chapters, and the flagship conferences, courses, and programs that anchor the field year round.

The North American SIGGRAPH conference has run annually since 1974, publishing influential research and hosting production sessions, art shows, and a large exhibition. SIGGRAPH Asia, since 2008, rotates through the Asia-Pacific region with a similar technical and industry mix.

Attendees include students, researchers, technical artists, and engine programmers. Public schedules and news are open; registration unlocks proceedings, courses, and on-site networking.

Tracks span papers, courses, posters, real-time live demos, and vendor sessions where GPU and software makers preview APIs and tools.

Widely regarded in the graphics programming community as a major industry event and the default North American venue for cutting-edge rendering research.
