Description

Arm Streamline Performance Analyzer is part of Arm Performance Studio and profiles how applications use Arm CPUs and Mali or Immortalis GPUs on real hardware. Documentation on developer.arm.com covers Android, Linux, bare-metal, and Neoverse server targets.

On Android, Streamline connects over adb to a debuggable package, deploys the gatord agent, and records CPU sampling plus GPU hardware counters. Counter templates target common bottleneck classes, with advanced mode for custom Mali configurations.

Linux and bare-metal workflows compile target-specific agents, then import captures into the same timeline UI used on mobile. Calipers and zoom help separate CPU preparation from GPU frame cost in GLES or Vulkan titles.

The tool integrates with Performance Advisor, Frame Advisor, and Mali Offline Compiler within Arm Performance Studio licensing.

Known among mobile graphics developers as the standard Arm path for on-device CPU and GPU timeline profiling.
