Description
Real-Time Rendering Resources is the official companion site for Real-Time Rendering, Fourth Edition, by Tomas Akenine-Moller, Eric Haines, Naty Hoffman, Angelo Pesce, Michal Iwanicki, and Sebastien Hillaire. Beyond the book storefront it hosts free online chapters, hyperlinked bibliographies, figure galleries, correction lists, portal shortcuts, ray tracing resources, intersection references, and categorized bookmarks.
Content mirrors the RTR4 table of contents from the rendering pipeline through PBR, shadows, global illumination, texturing, VR, hardware, and intersection methods. Bonus web-only chapters cover collision detection and real-time ray tracing with full bibliographies. The portal page compresses Ke-Sen Huang's conference index, Advances in Real-Time Rendering course notes, API resources, and community tool lists.
All levels of real-time developers use it as a launch pad while reading the book or catching up between editions. Blog posts and edition notes track new techniques without waiting for the next print revision.
Two full chapters and appendices on linear algebra and trigonometry download free even without buying the print volume. Everything else on the site is free to browse; the physical book remains the primary structured reference.
Widely regarded in the graphics programming community as the canonical hub alongside the Real-Time Rendering textbook itself.
