Forcefield Shader Breakdown (Cyanilux)
Cyanilux
Visit resource ↗Description
Forcefield Shader Breakdown is a Cyanilux URP Shader Graph tutorial (March 2023 update) for a dome-shaped energy shield with Fresnel edges, depth intersections, and Scene Color distortion.
It walks transparent unlit setup, world-position intersection math, animated noise refraction, and impact ripples via Custom Function HLSL plus a C# SetFloatArray driver for multiple hit points at once.
Expect Opaque Texture enabled on the URP asset and no see-through transparency behind the shield. Suited to intermediate Unity technical artists comfortable with depth and screen nodes; Unity 2021.1+ View Vector notes are included.
Free on cyanilux.com with intro, caveats, annotated Breakdown and Ripples sections; Cyanilux posts are often shared in Unity shader communities as hands-on URP companions.
