Visit resource ↗Description
Procedural Pixels is Jan Mróz's long-running technical blog on real-time graphics and performance engineering. Posts document measured optimization work: profiling methodology, GPU and CPU bottlenecks, memory and bandwidth trade-offs, and shader or pipeline refactors, often with before-and-after timings rather than generic advice.
Examples include URP and compute-heavy workflows, but the write-ups emphasize portable reasoning (overdraw, batching, occupancy, bandwidth, algorithmic cost) that applies outside a single engine or API.
The catalog lists individual articles as separate resources; this entry is the blog hub and index at proceduralpixels.com/blog.
Free to read online. Useful for intermediate developers who want case-study style optimization notes grounded in production debugging.
