Description

Tone Mapping Analysis is an open Unity project by Runevision (Rune Skovbo Johansen) with editor tools to compare HDR tone-mapping LUTs. It targets Unity 2022.3 and ships custom windows rather than a standalone app.

The LUT Comparison window loads HDR .exr 3D LUTs with LogC coordinates, image tables with exposure and multipliers, comparison sliders, and overlays for max channel, saturation, and hue-only views. Graphs plot saturation versus value; a LUT Exporter pulls LUTs from shaders and post profiles. The repo includes the Tony Vibrant tone mapper.

Intermediate graphics developers and technical artists evaluating HDR grades in Unity benefit most.
